I went back to all my old school's websites, and surprisingly none of them had teacher pages. I then decided to use the school I used to observe and mentor in, Florida State University Schools (k-12), (aka Florida High), and on this schools website, only some of the teachers have webpages that actually have content. Every teacher has a webpage, but many are very plan or have nothing uploaded on them. I found one teacher, Ruth Bickel, she teaches Forensics and Earth Space Science to high schoolers and her teacher page is very basic, but it has a lot of class content on it. She has an "About the Teacher" tab that includes email, phone number, educational history, as well as tabs for the different subject areas she teaches. Under those specific tabs, she has class powerpoints, guided notes, and the syllabus. https://www.fsus.school/Page/528

When it comes to technology today, there are many ways to incorporate it into making our daily routine that will make our responsibilities as a teacher more effective and efficient. In the future, if I become a teacher I plan on having a web page where I can post weekly updates on the material that we are learning in class as well as other important information.  I think this would be beneficial to the students and the parents because it will be something that they can easily check on the regular. I will also have links to other websites and articles that might interest the parents and the students. The way I set up my web page, is kind of how I imagine what my future webpage will look like.

This was my second time to the Technology Sandbox, my first time being last Fall semester. In the year and a half since I've been, they have inquired a lot of new technologies. I have always been fascinated by 3D printing and since I am interested in teaching science, I think it would be really cool to 3D print models and diagrams instead of the basic printout worksheets. I also have always been interested in computers and I always wished I learned how to code, and now they are incorporating coding into elementary schools. I would love to incorporate the Little Bits into a lesson, or even have a whole class on how we can program them!
